Inpatient Physical Therapist

• Will accept new grads
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Must have or be able to obtain a GA Physical Therapist license Physical Therapy

• Meet competency skills for evaluation and treatment in area of practice
• Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in synthesizing complex evaluation data identifying diagnosis and developing a comprehensive plan of care.
• Update plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and related to the person’s age and lifestyle with measurable, realistic long and short term goals and a defined discharge plan
• Assess the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers. Initiate patient and family education in a timely manner. Utilize appropriate methods and materials for effective learning.
• Documentation is concise, pertinent and meets the professions and departments documentation standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the interdisciplinary team. Utilize support personnel as appropriate and available.
• Consistently meets established patient care productivity and patient charging completion.
• Ability to supervise students during a clinical rotation upon request
• Performs other related duties incidental to the described herein as may be assigned or delegated
